Frampton Cotterell , Bristol is a 2 bed provision, providing care for Children and Young people with complex mental health and emotional behavioural difficulties.

Kiwi Children’s Services provides specialist care services for children and young people with complex mental health, emotional and behavioural difficulties.
We have been able to provide specialist interventions that support young people’s emotional and mental health needs; to help identify previously unmet mental health needs through clinical assessment, and obtain the right type and level of support for them; and also to offer quality alternative provisions with support with hospital admissions with the aim to transition back into the home.

What is the Role
Your role of a Support Worker exists to manage all aspects of the young person’s support and accommodation in line with our mission and values.
You will be part of a key team supporting Children and Young People with complex mental health, autism and complex behavioural needs. You will provide support to gain greater independence and empowering them to achieve goals that are set.
You will support the educational development and achievements of the young person and remain informed about educational matters and contribute to the development of educational opportunities inherent in the home.
If required, to act, as key worker providing support and ensuring the implementation of their individual care plan.
As required, to attend childcare reviews and contribute to the assessment and care planning process, ensuring high standards of safe working practices are always adhered to.
The role requires you to be active with the young person and have a positive energy. You will need to have good communication and listening skills. You will be required to think on the spot and be opened minded about the young person’s views.
Every day will be different from sports, cooking, climbing to being outdoors.
